Born:  Born in captivity 3 January 1995 in Kolmården Wildlife Park, Sweden.

Mother:  Mirsha (deceased 2005)

Father:  Imarec (deceased 1995)

Siblings: Ten siblings through Mirsha (mother) including Marissa (female) born 1993 plus  and a number of half-siblings through Imarec (father).  Agee was Mirsha’s last cub.

Current location:  Beyond Bears, Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada

History of captivity:

  1. Born 3 January 1995 in Kolmården Wildlife Park
  2. Transferred to Beyond Bears, Abbotsford 3 May 1995

Additional Information

Agee was purchsed from Kolmården Wildlife Park, Sweden specifically to appear in the film “Alaska” (1996).  She travels to movie sets in a 12-metre-long trailer and is provided with a pool to wade in on hot days. (Source:
