Name:  Rasputin (male)

Born:  19 November 2007 in Moscow Zoo, Russia

Mother:  Murma

Father:  Untai

Siblings:  Cape (male) born 2000, Goto (male) born 2003, Boris (male) born 2005, Tonja (female) born 2009 and unknown male born 2011 and believed to be somewhere in China.  Raputin my also have a twin brother but there is some doubt regarding this.

Current location: Tallinn Zoo, Estonia

History of captivity:

  1. Born in captivity 19 November 2007 in Moscow, Russia
  2. Transferred to Nuremberg Zoo, Germany 29 December 2008
  3. Transferred to Antibes Marineland, France 22 April 2010
  4. Transferred to Yorkshire Wildlife Park, United Kingdom 29 January 2020
  5. Transferred to Tallinn Zoo, Estonia 20 November 2020

Progeny:  Hope (female) born to Flocke in 2014 and triplets born to Flocke in late December 2019. A male cub born to Rasputin and Friida in November 2021 in Tallinn Zoo died within days of his birth.
