Additional Information

Juno was one of twins but her sibling died within 24 hours of being born.  Although her mother, Aurora, was displaying normal maternal instincts it was decided to move Juno to the Zoo’s intensive care unit to help ensure her survival.  She was fed by hand on a special formula and remained in the Zoo’s Wildlife Health Centre for around three months.
